Suncatcher decal made for my online shop. For this project, I was greatly inspired by Amanda Gorman’s poem “The Hill We Climb”. I became enthralled with Gorman after learning about her speech impediment growing up. Similar to Gorman, I too have a speech impediment and have a difficult time saying words with the letter “r.” The yellow and pink used in the design is a subtle nod to her outfit during her performance at President Biden’s inauguration. I wanted to create something that was hopeful and positive, similar to her poems. Shop here for purchase :)
